This Quirk allows Mirio to create invisible forcefields. The “barriers” become very briefly visible when touched, the contact causing them to shimmer and distort the light around them (picture looking through a piece of warped glass. He can create these barriers up to 100 feet away from himself in any direction, but their strength weakens the farther away from him they are. Point-blank they’re impenetrable and strong enough to stop bullets, but at the full distance of 100 feet they’re easily shattered as if you took a blunt object to glass. Strength increases or decreases accordingly. He can only create one barrier at a time, but it can be any shape or size he wants. If the barrier is broken he must go through a cool-down period of a few minutes before he can create another. The length of time he can hold up a barrier has no limit beyond detriment to his body as more energy is expended to keep it up. Prolonged use causes severe headaches, nosebleeds, and can even result in unconsciousness if overextended beyond his limits. Barrier cannot be activated if Mirio is in midair.
